That’s 1000 primary students attended throughout the year and hopefully lots of happy memories and 120 Year 9 and 10 leaders, completed their Sports Leaders qualifications. Year 9 GCSE Food & Nutrition students practiced food styling. They were given an egg, a range of herbs, spices, vegetables, mayonnaise and bread Their challenge was to create an appetising and creative starter.

Well done to all students who took part in the recent inter-track and field events. All forms performed brilliantly, with some record-breaking achievements and truly impressive performances on the track; their effort and sportsmanship were outstanding and deserve recognition – Ms. Pinel – Teacher of PE.

Capturing groups of our Year 11’s after the majority of the year, sat their last GCSE exam.
Smiling, looking happy and proudly wearing their St. Paul’s leaver ‘hoodies’.

“That the world might grow in compassion” is the topic of the video featuring Pope Leo XIV’s prayer intention for June, marking the first of his pontificate.

As June is traditionally considered the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pope Leo XIV also released a new prayer.

Pope Leo XIV’s Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Lord, I come to your tender heart today,
to you who have words that set my heart ablaze,
to you who pour out compassion on the little ones and the poor,
on those who suffer, and on all human miseries.
I desire to know you more, to contemplate you in the Gospel,
to be with you and learn from you
and from the charity with which you allowed yourself
to be touched by all forms of poverty.
You showed us the Father’s love by loving us without measure
with your divine and human heart.
Grant all your children the grace of encountering you.
Change, shape, and transform our plans,
so that we seek only you in every circumstance:
in prayer, in work, in encounters, and in our daily routine.
From this encounter, send us out on mission,
a mission of compassion for the world
in which you are the source from which all consolation flows.
Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! ❤️‍🔥

Year 9 students enjoyed a fun and hands-on experience making sushi as part of their GCSE food preparation & nutrition lessons, learning new skills while exploring Japanese cuisine.

Our year 12 politics students had the pleasure of joining a remote ‘Learn with the Lords’ session with Baroness Finlay, one of the Deputy Speakers of the House of Lords. A very worthwhile, engaging and interactive session providing valuable insight and learning for our students. Baroness Finlay ended the session by saying our student questions, ‘had been the most challenging’ she has ever been asked.
Our thanks to Baroness Finlay and Mr. Williams, Teacher of Politics for organising.

It was such a pleasure to welcome our new Year 7 parents to their induction/information evening, in preparation for their children starting with us in the new school year.  Parents were so warm, friendly and engaging .  Welcome all of you, to our St. Paul’s community. 💜🧡

Our talented Year 10s wowed us with their creativity and skill in todays Bake Off – a feast for the eyes and taste buds! 🍰👏
