We’re excited to welcome our very first international students from Mexico and Italy! Their main goal is to improve their English and immerse themselves in British culture, and we’re thrilled they’ve chosen to do that with us. 🙌🏻
We can’t wait to see them settle in, make new friends, and enjoy being part of our Sixth Form and school community. 💜🧡🌍✨

Our WoW days are full of activities and opportunities for students to build their resume and experience a range of learning, to develop their employability skills. We have arranged varied and interesting activities, that will offer all year 10 students an opportunity to find out about the world of work. Year 10 are having a great time and embracing every activity, despite the horrendous heat for them all. Today they have been taking part in the mock interviews – it has been a busy day for all!

As the Church celebrated the feasts of St Peter and Paul this weekend, we are busy preparing for our feast day mass on Friday, a chance to come together as a school to remember our patron saint and to say thank you and goodbye to all the staff leaving us at the end of this term.

As early as the year 258, there is evidence of an already lengthy tradition of celebrating the solemnities of both Saint Peter and Saint Paul on the same day. Together, the two saints are the founders of the See of Rome, through their preaching, ministry and martyrdom there. https://hubs.la/Q03v4VdR0

St Pauls Stars Book Club
Students have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from shadowing both writing and illustration medals as well as the extended activities and artwork.
We have crowned The Final Year by Matt Goodfellow for writing, as our school winner and Wolf and the Bear by Kate Rolfe, as our illustration winner.
Both books have appealed to our younger years and very suitable for year 7s. Ms. Tutla, School Librarian.

Our incredibly talented school orchestra, conducted by Mr. Lowe, entertained parents to a beautiful musical soiree.  Mrs. Conaghan, our school Principal congratulated our wonderful young students on their performances showing such confidence and passion.  Parents and guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening and asked that we arrange more musical  evenings like this one….. we will of course!

Off they go! Our Silver DofE group setting out on their practice expedition in the sunshine of beautiful Derbyshire.. Here’s to teamwork, resilience, and a few blisters along the way! 🌄🥾🌞

On this National Thank a Teacher day, we give thanks to all our wonderful teachers and teaching assistants for everything they do to support our students, their families and our school. We are so very grateful and lucky to have you, you are all amazing, thank you!💜🧡🙌
