We took the year 9 photographers and A ‘level Art and Photography students on a trip to Twycross Zoo on Friday. The weather was mild, the monkeys went going crazy, but the students were fantastic! It was a great day, and the students took some fantastic photographs of the animals. We will use these in their project Environment and the Art students will add these to their primary observations.
It is non uniform day on Friday 8th October 2021 in aid of CAFOD.

To celebrate Roald Dahl day this year, students and staff dressed up as a Roald Dahl character from one of his man, and well-loved books. Roald Dahl was a prolific writer who wrote a range of poetry, short stories, novels and children’s fiction; according to his teachers ‘writing was never his strong point at school’!
He invented over 250 new words and there’s an official Oxford Roald Dahl dictionary to help you tell your snozzcumbers from your snozzberries. Roald Dahl Day is on the 13th September each year and is a valuable opportunity to remind ourselves of the wonderful contribution that he made to the genre of children’s fiction.
