We wish to congratulate all our Year 11 and 13 students who have persevered the last 18 months and were able to celebrate their A Level and GCSE results this week. Our students make us very proud and we wish them all the very best at university, apprenticeships, college and Sixth form studies. My huge thanks also goes to all the staff at St Paul’s for their hard work and commitment in ensuring each student’s results were fair and deserved. Mr Lockyer comments:

“I am delighted to have read about the tremendous achievements of our young people across the Trust’s schools this year.  As we all know, it has been such a challenging and turbulent period for all students, especially those studying for GCSE’s, A-Levels, BTECs and other post-16 qualifications.  I speak for all staff across the Trust, and especially those working every day with this year’s Year 11 and 13s when I say how profoundly impressed we have been with their application and efforts; they have coped with significant uncertainty and have risen to challenges which previous year groups have not had to.

I also want to pay tribute to the remarkable efforts of our staff who have given their all both in preparing the pupils for their assessments, and also in ensuring that those assessments were marked and moderated with such care and attention to detail.  Like the students, teachers, support staff and school leaders have also worked through unprecedented challenges to ensure that this years’ results accurately reflect the work produced by pupils.

We wish all of our outgoing Year 11 and Year 13 students every blessing as they move into the next chapters of their lives and I am pleased that so many Year 11 students are choosing to continue their studies in our fantastic Sixth Forms.”
