The TEEN Tech Festival held at DMU was a fantastic success, where ten of our top students from Science and Design Technology came together with other schools across the region for an exciting interactive programme that helps young people, understand the range of opportunities across digital, science and technology and the many different entry points. It’s a day that changes minds – especially those who may never have previously considered a career in science or technology. We embraced a photo opportunity with organiser Maggie Philbin OBE, who is an English radio and television presenter whose credits include Tomorrow’s World, Multi-Coloured Swap Shop and latterly Bang Goes the Theory.ex … a true inspiration.
Thanks to Mr. Gillespie Head of Design; Mrs Seaward Head of Science; Ms Tughan Science Technician and the ten students who represented St. Paul’s who were brilliant! Eryn Sergent, Year 10 student
