As we return to school for the Lent term we prayed this morning for all Catholics as we journey through Lent. Lent is a 40-day journey of prayer, fasting, and repentance in preparation for the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a time to deepen our faith and relationship with God.
We also prayed for our Muslim staff, students and parents who are making their journey through Ramadan. This is a sacred time of fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer, charity, and renewed devotion to Allah.
May this shared beginning inspire mutual respect, understanding, and peace among communities of faith.
