St Paul’s offers a wide range of courses at A Level and Level 3 BTEC level.

In addition, all students will attend weekly lessons in:

PSHE – you will study a range of topics from practical issues like how to become an independent learner, time management and active revision skills, to issues dealing more with the wider world and society such as preparing to drive, stereotyping and the voting system. In Year 13, you will have careful and close guidance in your application to University, apprenticeships or the world of work.

General RE –  These lessons will equip you with the ability to investigate and learn more about different world faiths, the Catholic Mass, theology and philosophy.

Enrichment

These sessions aim to enhance your skills and knowledge set alongside your academic studies.

Previous sessions have included:

  • Young Enterprise and Business
  • Sport
  • Food for Life
  • Mentoring at a Primary School
  • First Aid Qualification
  • Fundraising Team
  • Debate and Public Speaking
  • Photography
  • Modern Foreign Languages

Some of these Enrichment opportunities will last for a whole year, others for a term, allowing you to choose a range of different topics. Undertaking these Enrichment sessions means you develop as a whole person and add further value to your education.

Senior Student Leadership Team (SSLT)
Our Sixth Form SSLT is led by our Head Boy and Head Girl and supported by a team of Senior Prefects and Prefects. This team lead 4 groups:  Chaplaincy, Events, Sport and Charity.
