St Paul’s is an 11-18 comprehensive and multi-cultural school, which has recently undergone a major programme of refurbishment. A Catholic community which nurtures its individual members, considerably adds value in academic terms, and whose committed, loyal and effective staff share skills and expertise with others.

The school was formed by the amalgamation of Evington Hall Convent School and Corpus Christi RC Secondary Modern School in 1977, and has been located in Evington since 1985.

The school exists to enable pupils to appreciate the achievements of mankind in all spheres of human activity: to help pupils to be critical, analytical, deductive, capable and tolerant of argument; to make pupils conscious and careful of health and safety; to teach pupils an awareness of their physical environment’s value and beauty; and, above all, to ensure that they react to everything they experience as Christians.

Each year we welcome into our school 180 Year 7 students which includes a number of children from other Christian denominations and world faiths whose parents choose a Catholic education.  Every child is valuable and  an equal member of our community.

Partnership is at the heart of what we do.  We value the links we have with our parish communities and our feeder primary schools.  We also welcome our parents playing an active part in the education of their children through regular parents’ evenings and celebration assemblies, shared liturgies and through the many opportunities there are to share in the life of the school.
