The Governing Body seek to appoint an Operations Manager from August 2018:

To support and assist the Headteacher to ensure compliant operational services, which consistently deliver best value and support the provision of outstanding educational services.

  • To support the development and effective delivery of lean operational systems, processes and services to ensure robust operational standards and the cost effective delivery of a range of key services to the Academy.
  • To undertake line management and be responsible for the appraisal of the following teams: Administration, Catering, Cover, First Aid, IT support, Premises and Reprographics.
  • To organise and arrange adequate cover for all teacher absence on a daily basis.

The successful candidate should have

  • Experience of working in a management/operational role for a minimum of 5 years
  • Experience of facilities management, including planning and implementing maintenance/capital build projects/Health and Safety compliance
  • Experience of using effective systems and processes to ensure efficiency
  • Experience of managing and delivering projects
  • Experience of overseeing an IT network and managing and contracting the provision of domestic services including catering and cleaning is desirable
  • You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outstanding ability to plan, organise and negotiate. You should be solution focussed with a “can do” attitude and a high attention to detail.

Temporary Student Pastoral Support Officer – Level 1

Full time salary £18,870 (actual salary £15,331)

The Governing Body are looking to appoint a temporary Student Support Officer to cover maternity leave to assist in the behaviour management of students at St Paul’s.

This role will require close cooperation with the Progress Leaders. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Deputy Headteacher (Welfare & Inclusion) and will work with students on a daily basis focusing on welfare, behaviour, reintegration after exclusion and monitoring their work and conduct if they are in isolation.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to develop effective working relationships with students and staff.
