On Friday the 5th of July, we held our annual activities day. Students were, as always, amazing in how they threw themselves into the day and showed real team spirit as form groups as they competed for points for their year group trophies. Points were rewarded for team spirit, community strength and sportsmanship. In addition to the wonderful experience for our students, we hosted a speaker from the charity MOVE against Cancer. This is a charity which promotes fitness, sports and activity for people affected by cancer. We raised £506 for the charity – an amazing amount of money for which they passed on their gratitude to the parents in our community. A special thanks also to our dancers who performed in front of the whole school on the field and were cheered on by their very impressed friends! A community to be proud of.
