On Saturday, the Team have visited the centre of Kumasi to learn more about Ghanaian history and culture, giving context to what they are experiencing.
They also learnt about the place of Christianity within Ghanaian heritage and saw the Cathedral Basilica of St Peter- dedicated to the Archbishop of Kumasi in 2004.
On Sunday, the Team visited St Michael’s parish for another typical joyful Ghanaian mass, filled with dancing, singing and praise.
They also had the opportunity to see the parish primary school which is in desperate need of additional classrooms to accommodate the children. The efforts of Team Ghana will put a roof on this block and provide 4 extra classrooms.
