Mrs Ndoh in Science is running a STEM project for our 40 Year 9 students on Thursdays after school till 4.30 pm. The sessions will start w/c Thursday 14th June to 12th July 2018. This fun and exciting educational project will introduce students to careers in Science, Technology and Engineering and particularly within the NHS. There will be opportunities for the students to carry out forensic investigations to solve a murder case, visits from STEM ambassadors, an outstanding MEDICAL MAVERICK workshop on the 21st June 2018 and career planning including CV writing. The hands on workshop will introduce a whole range of amazing medical careers from nursing, doctors & paramedics to the lesser known healthcare scientists.
If your child brings a letter home about it, please confirm your consent for your child to participate in the project by making a contribution of £8.85 towards the cost of the Medical Mavericks Careers in Health Workshop on ParentPay by 9.00am on Tuesday 12th June 2018.
